Virtual Event Production Manager

Location: Remote Annual Salary: USD 90,260 About the Role: We seek an experienced Virtual Event Production Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our virtual event operations, you will oversee the end-to-end production of high-quality virtual and hybrid events. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized individual with a strong background in event management and a passion for delivering exceptional virtual experiences. Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Coordination:
   • Lead the planning and execution of virtual events, including webinars, conferences, and hybrid events.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand event objectives, audience needs, and technical requirements.
   • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
   • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and technical support, to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
2. Technical Management:
   • Oversee the selection and implementation of virtual event platforms and tools.
   • Ensure all virtual event components' technical setup and functionality, including video, audio, and interactive features.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during events to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
3. Content and Production Oversight:
   • Manage the creation and delivery of event content, including presentations, videos, and interactive elements.
   • Coordinate with speakers and presenters to ensure their content is prepared, rehearsed, and delivered effectively.
   • Implement best practices for virtual event production to enhance the overall attendee experience.
4. Team Leadership and Management:
   • Led and mentored a team of virtual event coordinators and technical staff.
   • Delegate tasks effectively and guide to ensure high-quality output and adherence to deadlines.
   • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
5. Client and Stakeholder Communication:
   • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.
   • Provide regular updates on event progress, challenges, and solutions.
   • Gather and incorporate feedback from clients and attendees to improve future events.
6. Post-Event Evaluation:
   • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event against predefined objectives.
   • Prepare comprehensive reports on event performance, including metrics on attendee engagement and technical issues.
   • Implement improvements based on feedback and evaluation results.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management focusing on virtual and hybrid events. Proven track record in managing large-scale events and leading production teams.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Webex) and other event management tools. Strong understanding of audio-visual equipment and live-streaming technologies.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations and unexpected challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or Event Management (e.g., CMP, CSEP).
• Experience with additional virtual event technologies and platforms (e.g., vFairs, Hopin).
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
