Core Responsibilities
Quality and Standards
- Oversee a team of transcriptionists whose accuracy directly affects patient records and physician trust.
- Build and enforce processes that reduce errors while protecting patient privacy at every step.
- Design onboarding and training that gets new hires productive and confident quickly.
Remote Team Leadership
- Keep the team connected and supported using tools like Slack, Zoom, and Notion.
- Run daily check-ins and feedback sessions that solve real problems, not just fill calendar space.
- Recognize strong work and coach through weak spots without letting either go unaddressed.
Performance and Process
- Review reports and dashboards to catch gaps, inconsistencies, and training needs early.

- Guide the rollout of new tools, templates, or compliance requirements with real-world usability in mind.
- Track KPIs — turnaround time, accuracy, client satisfaction, error rates — and act on what they show.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement). A certification in medical transcription or healthcare documentation is a strong plus.
Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on medical transcription experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or training capacity.

- Comfort with digital dictation systems, EHR platforms, and QA software.
