A static image gets a glance. Something that moves, even for two seconds, gets a second look. That difference is the whole reason this role exists.
We're hiring an
Animation and Motion Graphics Designer for a fully remote position, working across ad campaigns, digital content, and video projects rather than one narrow content type.
What the Role Covers
You'll take a creative brief, sometimes tightly defined, sometimes just a rough direction, and build animations that actually serve the project rather than just look impressive in isolation. That might mean a short animated ad, a motion graphics package for social content, or visual effects work for a longer video piece. The through-line across all of it is craft and timing — motion that feels intentional, not just technically correct.
- Designing 2D and 3D animations for digital platforms, ads, and video content
- Interpreting creative briefs and translating them into finished motion work
- Collaborating with marketing or creative teams to align animations with campaign goals
- Building motion graphics packages for social media, web, and e-learning content
- Managing project files and revisions without losing track of versions
- Meeting deadlines on projects that often have multiple stakeholders weighing in
What You'll Need
- A strong portfolio showing finished animation and motion graphics work, not just concept pieces
- Proficiency in tools like After Effects, and ideally some Cinema 4D or Blender for 3D work
- Solid understanding of timing, easing, and the principles that make motion feel natural
- Ability to take feedback and revise without losing the core idea of a piece
- At least two years of professional animation or motion design experience
- Comfortable managing a few projects at once without letting quality slip
Good to Have
- Experience with visual effects work for film, commercials, or games
- Familiarity with sound design basics for syncing audio to motion
- Some background in illustration or character design
- A portfolio piece where you can explain the creative decisions behind the motion
Why This Role Is Worth Considering
A lot of remote animation gigs are single-project freelance work with no continuity behind them. This one isn't. At Naukri Mitra, we focus on connecting the right talent with the right opportunity, so this role comes with ongoing creative work across real campaigns and content, not a one-off animation that gets used once and forgotten. Pay reflects your experience, and there's real room to grow into a senior or lead motion design role over time.
Who Tends to Do Well Here
People who obsess over the small details in timing that most viewers won't consciously notice but will feel, who take creative feedback without treating every note as a critique of their skill, and who can manage their own deadlines without needing constant check-ins. If that sounds like how you already work, this role should suit you.
How to Apply
Send your resume along with a portfolio or reel showing your best animation and motion graphics work. The process is short — a portfolio review, a conversation about your approach, then a decision. If animation and motion graphics designer work-from-home jobs with real creative variety are what you've been searching for, this is worth applying to.
