Virtual Curriculum Developer

Location: Remote Salary: $81,368 per annum Position Type: Full-Time Overview: We seek a highly skilled and innovative Virtual Curriculum Developer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

1. Curriculum Design and Development:
   • Develop comprehensive and effective virtual curricula aligned with educational standards and learner needs.
   • Create detailed lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
   • Ensure content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date with educational trends and technologies.
2. Instructional Design:
   • Design and implement instructional strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
   • Utilize a variety of instructional design models and methodologies to create interactive and immersive learning experiences.
   • Develop multimedia content, including video lectures, interactive simulations, and e-learning modules.
3. Technology Integration:
   • Integrate appropriate educational technologies and tools to support and enhance the virtual learning experience.
   • Stay current with emerging technologies and assess their potential for improving curriculum delivery and student engagement.
   • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless content integration into learning management systems (LMS).
4. Content Evaluation and Improvement:
   • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of developed curricula and instructional materials through learner feedback and performance data.
   • Identify improvement areas and make revisions to enhance content quality and learner satisfaction.
   • Conduct regular reviews of educational content to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with curriculum goals.
5. Collaboration and Communication:
   • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), educators, and other stakeholders to gather content requirements and ensure alignment with educational objectives.
   • Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative efforts to achieve curriculum development goals.
   • Provide training and support to educators and facilitators on using developed curricula and instructional materials.
6. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project deadlines.
   • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
   • Communicate progress and updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or challenges during development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design, particularly in a virtual or online learning environment.
• Strong proficiency in using educational technologies, e-learning authoring tools, and learning management systems (LMS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling educational content.
• Demonstrated ability to design engaging and effective learning experiences that meet diverse learner needs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with multimedia content creation, including video production and graphic design.
