Make a Real Impact as an Online Community Nutritionist
A Purpose-Driven Role with Real Impact
Looking to use your nutrition know-how to genuinely help peopleâand still work from wherever you are?
Youâre in the right place. Weâre building something thatâs not just about meal plans and macros. Itâs about people. Real lives. Real change. And we need someone like
you to help lead that charge.
What Your Day Looks Like as a Remote Nutritionist
A Job That Feels Different
You know those jobs where every day kind of blends into the next? Yeah,
this isnât one of them. Here, your work actually moves the needle. From hopping into community chats to cheering someone on who just cut out soda for the first time in years, to breaking down the difference between carbs and complex carbs on a video callâyouâll be in the thick of it.
No cold clinical scripts. No assembly-line advice. Just real talk with real people who are trying their best.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide members in our online nutrition community with relatable, science-backed advice
- Host weekly Zoom Q&As to bust myths and answer âShould I be drinking oat milk?â-type questions
- Create bite-sized content (think: one-minute reels, Instagram polls, and infographics) that make healthy eating feel doable.
- Track community questions and identify common challenges so we can create better tools
- Work with coaches, mental wellness experts, and sleep specialists to support whole-person health.
Why Your Work Here Really Matters
Be the Voice of Calm in the Chaos
Most people donât need another meal plan. They need someone whoÂ
understands the struggle of craving sugar at 10pm after a long day, or juggling meal prep with back-to-back Zoom calls.
Thatâs where you come in.
Nutrition can feel overwhelming. But you? You simplify. You bring clarity. You remind people they donât have to do it all at once.
The Kind of Nutritionist Who Thrives Here
Skills and Qualities Weâre Looking For
- Registered Dietitian, Certified Nutrition Specialist, or proven experience in nutrition coaching
- Ability to break down complex science into relatable advice ("Ever felt like a zombie by 3 p.m.? Letâs talk blood sugar.")
- Comfort working in online communities and digital platforms
- Willingness to go on camera for short videos or Q&As
- Potent mix of empathy, enthusiasm, and action
- Knowledgeable about topics like gut health, intuitive eating, hydration, and balanced nutrition
Meet the Team Behind the Mission
A Supportive Remote Culture
Weâre a small (but mighty) bunch spread across a few time zones. Thereâs Melissa in Colorado who runs our weekly recipe roundup. Josh in Ontario, whoâs always the first to drop a meme. And Tara in Atlanta, who somehow always knows when someone in the community needs a little extra encouragement.
Fridays are for casual winsâwe hop on a quick call and share what made us smile that week. Sometimes itâs a client who hit a goal. Sometimes itâs just, "I finally drank enough water today."
Your Real-World Impact
How Youâll Help People Every Day
Honestly? Youâll give people
hope. When someone logs in feeling defeated, your encouragement might be the thing that keeps them going. When they feel like no one understands what theyâre going through, youâll be the one who says,
"Youâre not alone. Iâve seen this before, and weâve got this."
Youâre not just another face on a screen. Youâre their support system.
A Typical Day in This Role
What You Might Do on Any Given Day
- Check in on overnight messages and reply to community threads
- Record a short video breaking down a trending TikTok diet (and why itâs total nonsense)
- Join a team check-in to brainstorm how to help more members reach hydration goals
- Prep for a myth-busting live session (spoiler: no, carbs are not the enemy)
- Spotlight a few member winsâlike Jorge finally learning to love his veggies
Staying Connected While Working Remotely
Building a Culture That Feels Personal
Remote work
can feel a bit disconnected sometimes. We get it. Thatâs why we:
- Run optional co-working sessions (bring your coffee, your cat, and your to-do list)
- Have emoji-only Mondays in Slack (you havenât lived until youâve tried to summarize your weekend using just 3 emojis)
- Celebrate birthdays, breakthroughs, and "just because" moments
Compensation, Benefits, and Flexibility
What You Get
We believe in paying people fairly. This role comes with an annual salary of
$58,000, plus:
- Flexible work hoursâwe care more about outcomes than hours
- Generous time off to rest your mind, unplug, and enjoy more of what makes you feel good
- A tech budget to keep your home office running smoothly
- A wellness stipend you can use for therapy, massages, supplementsâwhatever keeps you feeling good
Common Questions, Answered
Quick FAQs
"Do I need a huge social media following?" Nope. Weâre looking for connection, not clout.
"What if I havenât worked fully remote before?" No worries. Weâve got great systems, and the teamâs got your back.
"Is this fast-paced?" Sometimes. But not in a stressful way. More like "Wow, weâre really making a difference."
Who You Are Beyond the Resume
Your Energy, Approach, and Heart
Youâve got a warm, approachable vibe. People feel safe with you. Youâre kind, curious, and confident. You know when to nudge and when to listen.
Youâre also a lifelong learner. You love finding new ways to explain things. And you never make someone feel small for not knowing what a "glycemic index" is.
Is This the Right Fit for You?
A Little Gut Check
This job isnât for everyone. If youâre looking to clock in, copy/paste some advice, and log offâyou wonât love it here. But if youâre excited to grow something meaningful, show up for people, and sprinkle in some memes while youâre at it? Youâll feel right at home.
Letâs Build Something Good, Together
If youâre nodding your head right now, wondering how soon you can start,
youâre probably a great fit. Letâs help people feel better in their bodies, together. Sound good?
