We're hiring a Remote Logistics and Supply Chain Analyst who reads data as a way to solve real operational problems, not just report on them after the fact.

You'll be the person who notices when inventory levels drift out of balance, when a supplier's delivery times start slipping, or when a KPI report is quietly telling a story nobody's acted on yet. That means digging into supply chain data regularly, not just when a problem's already visible. It also means working directly with vendors and cross-functional teams to fix what the data points to, rather than handing off a report and moving on.
Core Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain and logistics data to catch inefficiencies and trends early
- Build and maintain KPI reports that actually get used, not just filed away
- Team up with cross-functional groups to sharpen supply chain workflows
- Assess inventory practices to keep stock levels balanced and carrying costs down
- Manage vendor and supplier relationships, resolving delivery, quality, or compliance issues as they come up
- Negotiate supplier terms to protect cost savings without sacrificing reliability
- Oversee the flow of goods as they move from supplier to customer, tracking shipments and required documentation
- Identify supply chain risks and build contingency plans before disruptions happen, not after
- Use supply chain management software to keep data accurate and operations efficient
- Lead or contribute to supply chain projects from planning through completion
What You'll Need
Minimum education needed: a
Bachelor's degree in a field like Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration. Minimum experience:
2 years in a supply chain analyst, logistics coordinator, or comparable role.
You'll need real proficiency in supply chain software like SAP or Oracle, plus data tools like Excel or Power BI — enough to actually interpret what the numbers are showing, not just enter data into a system. Strong organizational habits matter here, since you're often managing several moving pieces at once across different vendors and timelines. And because this role runs remotely, you'll need genuine self-discipline — nobody's going to notice if a report slips a day unless you flag it yourself.
Good to Have
- A Master's degree or a certification such as APICS or CSCP
- Experience negotiating supplier contracts directly
- Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks for supply chain disruptions
- Comfort tracking how external factors — market shifts, geopolitical events — affect logistics planning
Compensation and Work Setup
This role pays
$65,000 annually. This is a fully remote position, and a dependable internet connection and a workspace built for focused work are needed to do it well. Occasional travel may come up for meetings, training, or site visits, though it's not a regular part of the role.
