HR used to run on gut feel. Now it's numbers — turnover, engagement scores, headcount forecasts. Someone has to make sense of it before it becomes a decision. That's this role.
What the Role Involves
You'll work with HR data across recruitment, retention, performance, and engagement. Build dashboards. Give leadership real-time visibility. It's not just number crunching — you're figuring out what a trend actually means and what to do about it.
Fully remote. Close contact with HR teams and leadership, so your work gets used instead of filed away.
What You'll Be Doing
- Collecting and analyzing HR data across recruitment, retention, and engagement metrics
- Building and maintaining interactive dashboards for workforce reporting
- Supporting workforce planning through turnover and headcount analysis
- Identifying talent gaps and recommending strategies to close them
- Evaluating HR processes and flagging opportunities for improvement
- Ensuring data practices comply with privacy regulations and internal standards
- Preparing accurate reports for leadership and external stakeholders
- Training HR team members on interpreting and using workforce data
What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree required, in human resources, data analytics, business administration, or a related field
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in HR analytics, data analysis, or a similar role
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and data tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
- Sharp analytical ability — you can pull a real pattern out of a messy dataset
- Clear communication skills for translating technical findings into plain recommendations
- Careful, detail-oriented approach to data accuracy and compliance
Good to Have
- Familiarity with SQL, R, or Python
- Experience with predictive analytics or workforce modeling
- An HR-focused certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP
- Background training non-technical teams on using data tools
Where This Role Sits in the Organization
Naukri Mitra places this role with organizations that actually treat HR analytics as strategic, not a checkbox. Dashboards and recommendations go straight into planning decisions, not a report nobody opens. You'll be close enough to leadership for your work to change what happens next.
Compensation and Benefits
This role pays
$82,956 annually, along with:
- Fully remote work supporting global HR initiatives
- Access to training, certifications, and current analytics tools
- A flexible schedule built around real output, not fixed hours
- Direct involvement in decisions that shape workforce strategy
Who Tends to Do Well Here
Works either direction — HR people going more technical, or analysts specializing in workforce topics. What matters more than where you started: can you turn a dataset into a decision someone actually makes?
