We are actively seeking experienced and detail-oriented Accountants to join our growing team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling the financial operations of the company, including accounts payable/receivable, tax filings, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with all local and national regulations. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• General Ledger Management: Maintain and oversee the general ledger, including reconciliation of accounts and reviewing journal entries.
• Tax Filings and Compliance: Manage the preparation and filing of all required tax documents, ensuring compliance with GST, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and strategic plans to support business growth.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, and customer payments, and manage cash flow.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Audit Support: Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
• Data Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to assist in decision-making, identifying trends and anomalies that could affect profitability.
• Financial Strategy: Work with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies to improve the company's performance.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant certification is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software like Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks. Strong MS Excel skills are essential.
• Tax Knowledge: Solid understanding of Indian taxation, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
