As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Premises:
- Patrol and monitor the premises to ensure safety.
- Perform regular inspections of the building, entry/exit points, and surroundings.
- Monitor surveillance equipment (CCTV) to observe for any suspicious activity.
- access control:
- Manage the entry and exit of individuals, ensuring proper identification and authorization procedures are followed.
- Maintain a detailed log of people entering and leaving the premises.
- Assist in preventing unauthorized access or breaches of security.
- Incident Reporting:
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, alarms, or any suspicious activities.
- Document any incidents, accidents, or violations, and report them to the appropriate authorities.
- Provide detailed written reports on occurrences and assist in investigations if required.
- Safety and Emergency Management:
- Ensure all safety and emergency procedures are understood and followed.
- Respond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, and other urgent situations with composure and promptness.
- Liaise with emergency services (police, fire department, medical teams) when needed.
- Customer Service:
- Greet visitors and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist those in need, such as directing visitors or answering general inquiries.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing the organization positively.
- Physical Security Checks:
- Conduct regular physical inspections to identify any vulnerabilities, hazards, or security risks.
- Ensure that security measures, such as locks, alarms, and surveillance equipment, are fully functional.
- Report any broken equipment or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
- Crowd and Traffic Control:
- Assist in crowd control during events, emergencies, or peak hours.
- Direct and control the flow of traffic within the premises if necessary.
- Training and Compliance:
- Stay updated on security protocols, procedures, and laws.
- Attend training sessions to improve security skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Security Guard or relevant position.
- Familiarity with CCTV and other security systems.
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Physical fitness to stand, patrol, or remain vigilant for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security services in a corporate or residential setting.
- Basic first aid or CPR certification.
- Training in crowd control or crisis management.
- A valid security guard license for the state of Maharashtra.
Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
