E-Learning Development Specialist

Location: Remote Salary: $85,351 annually Position Overview: We seek an innovative and detail-oriented E-Learning Development Specialist to join our dynamic team. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge e-learning solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging technology to enhance educational experiences and a strong background in instructional design, multimedia development, and e-learning tools. Key Responsibilities:

1. Course Design and Development:
   • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyze learning needs and objectives.
   • Design and develop engaging, interactive e-learning courses using various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Lectora).
   • Ensure course content is aligned with instructional design principles and learning theories.
   • Develop assessments, quizzes, and interactive elements to reinforce learning and measure learner progress.
2. Multimedia and Content Creation:
   • Create and integrate multimedia elements such as graphics, videos, animations, and audio into e-learning modules.
   • For content creation and editing, use tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
   • Ensure all multimedia content meets accessibility standards and is optimized for various devices and platforms.
3. Quality Assurance and Testing:
   • Conduct thorough testing of e-learning modules to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility across different devices and browsers.
   • Address and resolve any technical issues or bugs identified during the testing phases.
   • Gather feedback from end-users and stakeholders to make iterative improvements and enhancements.
4. Project Management:
   • Manage multiple e-learning development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
   • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation.
   • Communicate progress, challenges, and updates to stakeholders and team members effectively.
5. Training and Support:
   • Provide end-users support and training on navigating and utilizing e-learning platforms and resources.
   • Develop user guides, FAQs, and other support materials to facilitate user understanding and engagement.
6. Research and Innovation:
   • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and e-learning and instructional design best practices.
   • Recommend and implement new tools, technologies, and strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of e-learning solutions.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in instructional design or e-learning development are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in e-learning development, instructional design, or a related field. Proven experience in creating interactive e-learning content and utilizing authoring tools.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Lectora.
  • Strong multimedia development skills using Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
