Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Daily Logistics
- Schedule, organize, and track inbound and outbound shipments
- Ensure optimal use of delivery routes and modes of transport
- Minimize transit times while maximizing delivery accuracy
Track Shipments in Real Time
- Monitor shipment progress through digital tracking systems
- Provide real-time updates and issue resolution for delays or route changes
- Keep internal teams and clients informed throughout the shipping lifecycle
Communicate With Vendors & Partners
- Serve as the primary point of contact for logistics vendors and warehouse personnel
- Manage vendor performance and resolve discrepancies or conflicts
- Foster long-term relationships with shipping providers and fulfillment partners
Maintain Inventory Records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records using cloud-based systems
- Conduct routine checks to reconcile system data with physical stock levels
- Track goods movement from storage to delivery
Prepare Reports & Analytics
- Analyze delivery metrics such as delivery times, costs, and vendor performance
- Generate weekly and monthly reports highlighting KPIs and trends
- Use data insights to recommend improvements to processes
Ensure Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations
- Prepare and manage customs declarations, bills of lading, and invoices
- Guarantee timely and precise submission of all required shipping paperwork
Skills & Experience Needed
- At least 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain coordination, or a similar role
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, inventory software, and shipment tracking platforms
- Ability to coordinate across time zones in a fully remote setting
- Strong writing and speaking skills with a polished, concise communication style
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent multitasking abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to dynamic project needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with international logistics protocols and shipping documentation
- Previous experience in a virtual or hybrid logistics role
- Background in working with third-party logistics (3PL) companies
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and shipping APIs
