Virtual HRIS Manager
Location: Remote Salary: $66,019 annually Position Overview: We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Virtual HRIS Manager to oversee and manage our Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions. As a key member of our HR team, you will ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and enhancement of our HRIS platform. This role requires a deep understanding of HRIS technologies, data management, and HR processes and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities:- HRIS Management and Administration:
- Oversee the daily operations of the HRIS platform, ensuring the system is functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Manage system configurations, updates, and customizations to align with organizational requirements and HR best practices.
- Conduct regular system audits and troubleshoot issues to maintain data integrity and system performance.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate HRIS with different organizational systems as needed.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of HR data within the system.
- Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports to support HR functions and business decision-making.
- Analyze HR data trends and metrics to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
- Assist in data migration and system upgrades to enhance functionality and efficiency.
- User Support and Training:
- I will serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and provide expert guidance to HR team members and other system users.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to educate users on HRIS functionalities and best practices.
- Address and resolve user issues and system-related problems on time.
- System Enhancements and Project Management:
- Identify opportunities for system enhancements and collaborate with vendors or internal teams to implement improvements.
- Lead or participate in HRIS-related projects, including system upgrades, new module implementations, and process redesigns.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful outcomes.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure the HRIS complies with relevant legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive HR data from unauthorized access or breaches.
- Stay current with HRIS trends, technologies, and compliance requirements to ensure the system remains up-to-date and compliant.
- Strategic Planning and Collaboration:
- Work closely with HR leadership to align HRIS strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to developing HRIS-related policies and procedures.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, finance, IT, and external vendors, to support collaborative efforts and achieve common goals.
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing HRIS platforms, with a strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and tools, with experience in system administration, configuration, and reporting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret and act on complex data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users effectively.
- Proven project management skills, with experience leading HRIS-related projects from conception to implementation.
- Knowledge of HRIS compliance and security best practices, focusing on data protection and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
- Certification in HRIS or related fields (e.g., HRIS Certification, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
- Experience with specific HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or ADP Workforce Now is desirable.
- Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques and experience with system migration projects.
