Senior Remote Grant Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:- Grant Management:
- Oversee the entire grant management lifecycle, from proposal development to grant reporting and compliance.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of grant applications, reports, and amendments, ensuring all submissions meet required deadlines and comply with funding guidelines.
- Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information necessary for grant proposals.
- Develop, write, and edit grant proposals, crafting compelling narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
- Research to identify potential funding sources and stay informed about new grant opportunities.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Monitor and track grant expenditures to ensure compliance with donor requirements and organizational policies.
- Prepare and submit timely and accurate financial and programmatic reports to funders.
- Ensure all grant-related documentation is maintained and organized by internal policies and donor regulations.
- Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with grant funders, including regular communication and engagement to ensure ongoing support and address concerns.
- Serve as the primary contact point for funders and promptly address any inquiries or issues.
- Data Management:
- Maintain and update grant management databases and systems to track application statuses, funding timelines, and compliance requirements.
- Analyze and interpret grant data to provide insights and recommendations for improving grant management practices.
- Training and Support:
- Provide guidance and training to staff on grant management processes, reporting requirements, and best practices.
- Support the development of grant-related materials and resources to enhance organizational capacity.
- Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to developing and implementing strategic plans for grant funding and resource development.
- Identify and assess emerging trends and opportunities in the grant-making landscape to inform strategic planning efforts.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct reviews and audits of grant management processes to ensure adherence to internal controls and donor requirements.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of grant management practices.
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Masterβs degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant management, including experience with federal, state, and private grants.
- Skills:
- Proven ability to write successful grant proposals and manage complex grants.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial and programmatic data.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
