Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Workforce Optimization Analyst to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will optimize workforce management systems, analyze labor trends, and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with various departments, including Human Resources, Operations, and IT, to ensure that the workforce is effectively utilized and well-positioned to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, organize, and analyze workforce data to identify trends, patterns, and inefficiencies.
- Develop detailed reports, dashboards, and metrics for stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to labor management, productivity, and staffing.
- Use forecasting models to predict future workforce needs based on historical data, market trends, and business objectives.
- Workforce Planning:
- Collaborate with various departments to develop staffing models that align with current and future business needs.
- Analyze schedules, headcount, and workforce requirements to optimize labor allocation.
- Provide recommendations on staffing adjustments, resource allocation, and shift structures to maximize productivity.
- Optimization of Workforce Management Systems:
- Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work closely with Human Resources and Operations to understand workforce challenges and develop actionable strategies to resolve them.
- Partner with IT to ensure workforce management tools function correctly and support organizational needs.
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure alignment between staffing levels and the businessβs strategic objectives.
- Forecasting & Scenario Planning:
- Utilize advanced forecasting techniques to predict workforce needs based on various business scenarios, including growth projections, seasonal demands, and special projects.
- Develop "what-if" scenarios to help leadership plan for potential business changes, ensuring the workforce is adaptable and prepared for any situation.
- Key Metrics Monitoring:
- Monitor important workforce metrics, such as absenteeism, turnover rates, overtime, and productivity levels.
- Create strategies to improve employee engagement, reduce turnover, and minimize overtime costs.
- Provide regular updates to management on the status of workforce optimization efforts and their impact on overall business performance.
- Training & Development:
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Analytical Skills:
- Strong analytical abilities are essential for interpreting data, identifying trends, and making data-driven recommendations. Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is also essential.
- Experience with Workforce Management Tools:
- Experience using workforce management systems like Kronos, Workforce Central, or other platforms to analyze and optimize labor resources.
- Problem-Solving Ability:
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and develop actionable solutions.
- Attention to Detail:
- Ability to manage large data sets with precision and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reports and analyses.
- Communication Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaboration Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, understanding different departments' unique challenges and requirements.
- Time Management:

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in workforce management, data analysis, or a related field.
- Experience working in a remote environment is a plus.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or similar tools is a plus.
