Remote Total Rewards Manager
Location: Remote Salary: $85,000 per annum About the Role: We seek an experienced and detail-oriented Total Rewards Manager to join our dynamic team. This remote position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage our total rewards programs' design, implementation, and administration. As a Total Rewards Manager, you will ensure that our compensation and benefits programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:- Program Design and Management:
- Develop and implement competitive total rewards strategies that align with the organization’s business objectives and culture.
- Design and manage compensation structures, including base salary, variable pay, and incentive programs.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits.
- Compensation Analysis:
- Conduct regular market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices within the industry and geographic location.
- Perform job evaluations and ensure proper salary grading and benchmarking for new and existing roles.
- Analyze compensation data and trends to make recommendations for salary adjustments, promotions, and bonus structures.
- Benefits Administration:
- Manage the benefits enrollment process, including open enrollment and new hire onboarding.
- Evaluate and negotiate with benefits providers to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to employee benefits and compensation.
- Employee Communication and Support:
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and deliver communication materials and training to educate employees about total rewards programs.
- Address and resolve employee issues or concerns about compensation and benefits promptly and professionally.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all total rewards programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on compensation and benefits metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to employee compensation and benefits.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to align total rewards strategies with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues related to compensation and benefits.
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies and initiatives.
- System and Process Improvement:
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to current compensation and benefits systems and processes.
- Leverage HR technology and data analytics to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of total rewards programs.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve total rewards administration continuously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional) is a plus.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation and benefits management, with a strong background in designing and managing total rewards programs.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits practices, including legal and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in conducting market research, analyzing compensation data, and developing compensation structures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- This is a fully remote position; candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office environment.
- Occasional travel may be required for professional development or team meetings.
