Key Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and review structural components and systems for various construction projects.
• Collaborate closely with architects, civil engineers, and other stakeholders in real-time using remote collaboration tools.
• Develop construction drawings, calculations, and detailed technical documentation.
• Perform load and stress analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety codes.
• Support field engineers and project managers by offering real-time design adaptations when needed
• Participate in design reviews and virtual meetings to communicate project insights and adjustments.
• Contribute to sustainable design strategies and materials selection per green building principles.
• Review peer work and provide constructive feedback in a respectful, inclusive team culture.

You’ll work with industry-leading software and cloud-based tools such as:

• AutoCAD, Revit, and Tekla for drafting and 3D modeling
• SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD.Pro for structural analysis
• Bluebeam Revu for collaborative markups
• Microsoft Teams, Miro, and Slack for communication and whiteboarding
• Cloud-based file management systems for real-time version control

Qualifications That Matter

We're looking for more than technical skills. We seek a professional who embodies empathy, precision, and proactive collaboration. Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in structural engineering roles
• Proficiency with structural analysis tools and drafting software
• Familiarity with North American building codes (IBC, AISC, ACI, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Preferred:

• PE or SE licensure (or on track for licensure)
• Experience working with remote teams or in cross-cultural engineering projects
• Exposure to timber, steel, concrete, and composite structural systems
• Commitment to sustainable engineering practices
