Frequently Asked Questions

There’s no fixed routine, and that’s probably the first thing people notice. One day you might spend most of your time going line by line through a contract, catching small issues. Another day, you’re pulled into research because something unexpected came up. Plans change. That’s just how it goes.
Not really a must. Some people come in without it and still do well. The bigger question is—can you manage your own time without being reminded? If you can stay on track and maintain momentum throughout the day, you’ll adjust.
It’s a mix, and it doesn’t stay predictable. Drafting, reviewing, and then suddenly researching something that wasn’t even on your radar earlier. A lot of the work is about making sure things hold up legally and make sense in practical use.
No complicated system. If your work is solid and you don’t miss deadlines, that already puts you in a good place. Also, people notice when they don’t have to follow up with you twice. That matters more than it sounds.
You need to be comfortable figuring things out on your own. Writing clearly helps, obviously. But also, just staying organized and not letting small details slip. It’s easy to overlook things when everything is digital, so that part really counts.
