What You’ll Tackle

• Get hands-on with complex challenges in SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL—always focused on stability and smooth performance.
• Plan and deliver robust backup, recovery, and disaster-preparedness strategies that work when you need them most.
• Team up with engineers and DevOps to create secure, scalable cloud database setups—using AWS RDS, Azure SQL, and Google Cloud SQL.
• Track down slowdowns and mysterious errors, using a mix of intuition, creativity, and analytics to fix them for good.
• Automate the “boring bits” with Python, PowerShell, or Bash—because your time is too valuable for repetitive work.
• Guide product teams through changes, upgrades, and migrations, keeping everything on track without causing headaches.
• Stay ahead of security risks—watching for new threats and applying safeguards before trouble finds you.

• You understand the basics of security and know how to react if something goes wrong.
