Role Overview and Key Functions
Purpose of the Position
The E-commerce Analyst will play a pivotal role in interpreting data trends, assessing digital campaign performance, and identifying opportunities for optimization across our online platforms.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Track and evaluate the performance of e-commerce campaigns across platforms like Shopify, Magento, and WooCommerce.
- Analyze customer behavior metrics, including bounce rate, session duration, and conversion paths.
- Generate weekly and monthly performance dashboards using tools like Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Tableau.
- Collaborate with digital marketing and merchandising teams to inform product listing optimizations and promotion strategies.
- Identify bottlenecks in the purchase journey and recommend A/B testing solutions.
- Deliver forecasts and sales projections based on traffic trends and historical purchasing data.
- Present analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in clear, actionable formats
Required Skills and Experience
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related discipline
- 2+ years of experience in e-commerce performance analysis, preferably in a fully remote environment
- Proficiency in analytical platforms like Google Analytics 4, Hotjar, and Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables)
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Understanding of SEO metrics, PPC campaign data, and digital conversion funnels
- Strong communication skills for data storytelling across teams
- Demonstrated capacity to manage tasks autonomously and maintain productivity in a distributed work environment

- Experience with headless commerce platforms
- Working knowledge of SQL or Python for deeper data manipulation
