What You’ll Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and operations engineers to define quality standards across CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks integrated with DevOps workflows.
• Monitor test environments and identify performance bottlenecks, system outages, and errors during deployments.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies that ensure software reliability under real-world conditions.
• Contribute to code reviews and pair programming sessions with development teams to identify QA concerns early.
• Log and track bugs precisely and empathetically, facilitating smooth communication between QA and engineering teams.
• Maintain testing tools, deployment pipelines, and standard operating procedures documentation.

Collaborative Engineering

• Partner closely with SRE and DevOps teams to enforce security, scalability, and stability requirements through automated validations
• Provide meaningful feedback in retrospectives and sprint planning sessions
• Participate in daily standups with distributed QA squads to align on test priorities and deadlines

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a QA role within a DevOps or software engineering environment
• Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Adept at working independently and collaboratively across remote teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Exposure to performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
• Comfort with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Experience working in a fully remote, distributed environment
