What You’ll Do

• Build data defenses: Design and implement layered security solutions for both cloud and on-premises databases, supporting platforms like SQL, NoSQL, and modern data lakes.
• Keep threats in check: Monitor live systems, quickly address vulnerabilities, and respond to cyber threats using advanced security analytics.
• Coordinate incident response: Lead efforts when issues arise—work with colleagues to restore services, investigate root causes, and improve for next time.
• Uphold compliance: Stay on top of data privacy laws, company rules, and significant security standards (think GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2), ensuring ongoing alignment.
