Key Responsibilities

Accessibility Audits

• ✨ Perform thorough accessibility audits of web and mobile applications
• ✨ Use tools such as Axe, WAVE, and Lighthouse to identify potential accessibility issues
• ✨ Verify alignment with global standards like WCAG 2.1/2.2, Section 508, ADA, and ARIA
• ✨ Provide remediation guidance based on findings and best practices
• ✨ Analyze interactive elements and dynamic content for assistive tech compatibility

Test Implementation

• ✨ Execute keyboard-only navigation and color contrast validation
• ✨ Simulate user scenarios for individuals with varying impairments
• ✨ Utilize screen readers, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, to test compatibility
• ✨ Conduct exploratory testing to uncover dynamic interaction barriers
• ✨ Integrate accessibility tests into CI/CD pipelines for ongoing validation

Documentation & Collaboration

• ✨ Generate detailed accessibility reports with actionable insights
• ✨ Communicate findings effectively to developers, UX designers, and project leads
• ✨ Retest resolved issues to confirm successful implementation
• ✨ Participate in agile ceremonies and support accessibility backlog refinement
• ✨ Advocate for accessibility improvements across cross-functional teams

Technical Proficiency

• ✨ Familiar with accessibility testing APIs and browser developer tools
• ✨ Skilled in cross-browser testing and responsive design assessment

• ✨ Previous experience mentoring junior accessibility testers is a bonus
