Core Responsibilities

Research Design and Execution

  • Develop research methodologies aligned with international standards
  • Conduct in-depth literature reviews to identify knowledge gaps
  • Design tools for surveys, interviews, and focus groups
  • Secure ethical approvals and ensure compliance with global research guidelines
  • Lead field studies and ensure accurate data collection in partnership with local teams

Data Analysis and Insight Generation

  • Utilize R, SPSS, Python, or STATA to perform advanced data analysis
  • Clean and process datasets from diverse sources, including health records and surveys
  • Visualize findings using graphs, charts, and dashboards for ease of understanding
  • Interpret results to draw actionable conclusions that inform health interventions
  • Contribute to policy briefs, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Participate in interdisciplinary research teams across time zones
  • Serve as the research lead in collaborative international projects

Candidate Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Master’s or PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Global Health, or closely related fields
  • Coursework or certifications in data science, health informatics, or evidence-based medicine are advantageous
  • Familiarity with IRB submission processes and ethical conduct in research is essential

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in public health research
  • Previous involvement in large-scale health studies, impact evaluations, or randomized control trials
  • Demonstrated ability to publish research in journals, contribute to health policy documents, or deliver high-stakes presentations
