Online Learning Manager
Location: Remote Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Online Learning Manager to lead the development and management of our online learning programs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating e-learning solutions that enhance our educational offerings and meet the needs of our diverse learner population. This is a full-time remote position with a competitive annual salary of $172,932. Key Responsibilities:- Program Development and Management:
- Design and develop comprehensive online learning programs, including curricula, instructional materials, and multimedia content.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of online courses, from initial planning and design to implementation and evaluation.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructional designers to create engaging and compelling learning experiences.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for online learning initiatives in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify emerging trends in e-learning and technology to ensure our programs remain current and innovative.
- Analyze learner feedback and performance metrics to improve course offerings and instructional strategies continuously.
- Technology Integration:
- Evaluate, select, and implement learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
- Ensure that online learning platforms are user-friendly, accessible, and fully integrated with other organizational systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to online learning platforms and tools.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and enforce quality standards for online course content and delivery.
- Conduct regular reviews and audits of online courses to ensure they meet educational and technical standards.
- Implement processes for assessing and enhancing the effectiveness of online learning programs.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead a team of instructional designers, e-learning developers, and other professionals involved in online learning.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment that encourages professional development and growth.
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration of online learning initiatives.
- Learner Support and Engagement:
- Develop strategies to engage and support learners throughout their online learning journey.
- Provide guidance and support to learners, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Implement feedback mechanisms to gather learner input and adjust course content and delivery.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the budget for online learning programs, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Identify and procure necessary resources and tools to support the development and delivery of online courses.
- Monitor expenditures and report on budget performance as required.
- Education: Bachelorβs degree in Education, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field. Masterβs degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in online learning management, instructional design, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Skills:
- Proven expertise in designing and implementing online learning programs and curricula.
- Strong knowledge of e-learning platforms, LMS, and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in using various e-learning tools and technologies, such as authoring tools and multimedia software.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in instructional design or e-learning management are a plus.
- This is a remote position, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
- Must have a reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup.
