Key Responsibilities:
- Transportation Services:
- Safely transport clients, employees, and goods to designated locations within Mumbai, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while interacting with passengers and clients.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or goods as necessary.
- Route Management:
- Plan and optimize routes to ensure timely arrivals while considering traffic conditions and road closures.
- Utilize GPS and mapping applications to navigate efficiently through the city.
- Stay updated on local traffic laws and changes in road conditions to ensure compliance and safety.
- Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Report any vehicle issues or necessary repairs to the management promptly.
- Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times, both inside and outside.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
- Submit daily reports to management as required.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and passengers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
- Assist in providing information about services offered, and helping clients with inquiries regarding their transportation needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver in Mumbai or similar urban environments.
- License: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) and a clean driving record. Must meet all local and state driving regulations.
- Skills:
- Strong navigation skills with knowledge of Mumbai’s roads and traffic patterns.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
