Position Summary:
As a Babysitter, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and caring environment for children while their parents or guardians are away. Key Responsibilities:
- Child Supervision: Watch over and supervise the children, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Engagement: Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, play, and educational games to keep the children entertained and stimulated.
- Feeding: Prepare and serve meals and snacks, following any dietary guidelines or restrictions provided by parents.
- Bathing and Bedtime: Assist with bathing, bedtime routines, and ensure children are ready for rest.
- Safety: Maintain a safe environment by childproofing, monitoring, and taking immediate action in case of emergencies.
- Homework Support: Provide assistance with homework and school assignments as needed.
- Transportation: If required, safely transport children to and from school, activities, or appointments.
- Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's activities, behavior, and any concerns.
- Household Tasks: Perform light household tasks related to the children's care, such as cleaning up after meals and playtime.
Qualifications:
- Experience in childcare or babysitting is preferred.
- Patience and the ability to connect with children on their level.
- Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Good communication skills, both with children and parents.
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Working hours can be discussed and agreed upon with the parents or guardians.
Compensation:
