Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments using various diagnostic tools and techniques to evaluate hearing loss, auditory processing disorders, and balance issues. Interpret test results accurately and communicate findings to patients and their families clearly and compassionately.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs, including fitting and dispensing hearing aids, cochlear implants, assistive listening devices, and other amplification technologies. Provide counseling and guidance on hearing conservation, communication strategies, and auditory rehabilitation.
- Follow-up Care: Monitor patients' progress over time, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans and devices to optimize outcomes. Offer ongoing support and education to help patients adapt to hearing aids and other assistive devices effectively.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and educators, to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex auditory and vestibular disorders.
- Research and Development: Stay informed about audiology research, technology, and clinical practice advancements. Participate in professional development activities, including conferences, workshops, and continuing education programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Audiology or related field from a recognized institution.
- Valid license or registration to practice as an Audiologist in Karnataka.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using audiometric equipment and software.
- Fluency in English and one or more regional languages is desirable.
