Responsibilities That Drive Results

✅ Be the go-to person for virtual bookkeeping Take ownership of daily and monthly accounting tasks—from reconciliations to preparing clean, audit-ready financials. ✅ Keep property finances organized and accurate You'll oversee the movement of money across rent, maintenance, taxes, and vendor payments—making sure nothing slips through the cracks. ✅ Collaborate with property teams Regular check-ins and report reviews keep everyone aligned. You’ll be the one who spots patterns, flags potential issues, and offers practical solutions. ✅ Find ways to work smarter You’ll explore ways to automate repeat tasks and help reduce manual errors through smart systems. ✅ Turn reports into decisions It’s not just about preparing reports. It’s about helping clients see what they mean and what to do next.

Tools You Should Be Comfortable With

QuickBooks Online Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive) Slack, Zoom Calendly or similar tools Platforms like AppFolio or Buildium are a bonus

What Progress Looks Like

Within 3 months, you'll have:

• Cleaned up at least one messy account and simplified the chart of accounts
• Built trust with stakeholders by delivering reliable, timely reports
• Automated a few manual processes to save hours every month

By 6 months:

• You’ll be confidently managing multiple property books
• Clients will turn to you for insights, not just reports
• You’ll be recommending ways to improve and evolve our systems

What Helps You Stand Out

• 2+ years of bookkeeping experience (remote work preferred)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
