Virtual Employee Culture Consultant
Why This Role is Different
Ever worked somewhere that
said they cared about culture but didnât really live it? We get it. Thatâs not us. Culture isnât just a buzzword hereâitâs our daily practice. We believe that the magic of a strong team doesnât vanish just because weâre remote. In fact, weâve learned it can be even stronger when done right. This role isnât about sending out surveys or hosting a virtual pizza party once a year. Itâs about building an everyday experience where people feel connected, valued, and excited to log in.
What Youâll Be Shaping
Your work will shape how we stay human in a digital workspace. Youâll be the heartbeat of our remote team cultureâmaking sure our people feel supported, included, and inspired. Youâll design experiences that make someone in New York feel just as connected as someone in Sydney. From onboarding that feels like a warm welcome to recognition that actually means somethingâyouâll bring ideas to life.
A Typical Day? Well, No Two Are the Same
Some days youâre planning a company-wide âCoffee & Catch-Upâ where people share weekend wins. Other days, youâre spotting friction points between teams and finding ways to fix them before they grow. Maybe youâre creating a new peer recognition system. Or perhaps youâre chatting with someone whoâs feeling a bit disconnected and helping them find their spark again.
Weâre big on small moments that matter. Like that time we sent surprise care packages to the whole team just because theyâd been crushing it during a busy season. Or the time we held a âBring Your Pet to Zoomâ dayâcomplete chaos, totally worth it.
How Youâll Make an Impact
- Keep connections alive â Weâre talking regular, meaningful touchpoints. Not just another meeting that could have been an email.
- Spot whatâs working (and whatâs not) â Whether itâs a new recognition tool or a change in team schedules, youâll measure what sticks.
- Help leaders lead better â Share insights and ideas that make managers stronger culture champions.
- Celebrate big and small wins â Because recognition fuels motivation.
- Bridge across time zones â Create ways for people to connect despite the miles.
Who Youâll Be Working With
Youâll work with everyoneâliterally. The leadership team will look to you for strategies. Team members will come to you with ideas, concerns, and moments they want to share. Youâll partner with HR, People Ops, and department leads to make sure culture isnât a side project, itâs woven into everything.
Weâre a mix of early birds, night owls, parents, pet lovers, and travel enthusiasts. We know the juggle between work and life, and we celebrate both.
What Weâd Love to See in You
- People instincts â You get people. You can sense when somethingâs off, and you know how to turn it around.
- Storytelling skills â You make things feel real. Whether itâs sharing a win or introducing a new initiative, you get people excited.
- Empathy and listening â You donât just hear wordsâyou understand feelings.
- Creativity â You bring fresh, practical ideas that fit our culture, not just trends.
- Ability to keep many plates spinning â You can handle several projects at once while keeping your cool.
- Comfort with remote tools â You know your way around platforms like Slack, Zoom, and project management tools.
Your Background Might Include
- Experience leading culture, employee engagement, or people programs (remote or hybrid).
- Running events, programs, or initiatives that made a real difference in how teams connect.
- Managing feedback processes and turning insights into action.
- Helping leaders build stronger, more human-centered workplaces.
How Success Looks Here

Challenges Youâll Tackle
Remote work is amazing, but itâs not without its hurdles. People can feel out of the loop. Time zones can make teamwork tricky. Culture can drift if no oneâs paying attention. Thatâs where you step in. Youâll help make sure that whether itâs Monday morning in London or Friday evening in Singapore, everyone still feels part of the same team.

- When a teammate in another country felt low, and within a day, half the team had sent messages and little care packages.
These arenât âprogramsâ we run. Theyâre just how we operate.
Your First 90 Days
