Telework Real Estate Compliance Specialist
Description
Real Estate Compliance, Done Right From Anywhere
Ready to dive into the world of real estate compliance without setting foot in an office? Good. This remote role is designed for individuals who thrive on details, meet deadlines, and value the flexibility to work from anywhere.
This isn’t your average compliance gig. It’s fast-paced, flexible, and packed with real impact. You’ll help keep real estate transactions squeaky clean, help teams stay in the know, and make sure we never miss a beat. Oh, and you’ll do it all from the comfort of your home—with zero commute.
What You’ll Actually Be Doing Each Day
Let’s skip the fluff. Here’s the real stuff you’ll tackle:
- Reviewing documents like purchase agreements, disclosures, and contracts to make sure they’re compliant and complete.
- Helping agents and brokers stay compliant with changing laws, internal policies, and local real estate rules.
- Catching errors early. Missed signature? Wrong date? Inconsistent info? You’ll spot it.
- Logging your work, tracking progress, and maintaining detailed digital records enables us to pass audits with flying colors.
- Raising a flag when something feels off. We trust your gut.
- Giving friendly nudges to teams when things fall behind.
- Sharing best practices, building guides, and helping new hires learn the ropes.
Yep, it’s a lot. But you won’t be doing it alone.
Real Work With Real People
You’ll be part of a minor, tight-knit compliance team that actually talks to each other. Our Monday check-ins aren’t just a box to check. They’re a real chance to share wins, ask for help, and laugh through whatever wild thing happened that week.
Jasmine, one of our Compliance Leads, puts it best: “Some days it’s nonstop. But knowing I’m the last line of defense before things go out the door? That matters.”
We use Slack to stay connected, Zoom for face-to-face meetings, and Notion for everything else. Remote doesn’t mean disconnected—not here.
Let’s Talk About Skills (and a Bit of Experience)
You don’t need to know everything, but there are a few things you should be comfortable with:
- 2+ years of real estate compliance or transaction coordination.
- Strong working knowledge of real estate contracts and disclosures.
- Comfort with tech tools like DocuSign, Dotloop, Skyslope, or similar platforms.
- Detail-obsessed mindset. You double-check things for fun.
- Clear communication. You can explain compliance issues to those who are not familiar with them.
- Remote-ready attitude. You’re self-motivated and don’t need someone watching over your shoulder.
Bonus if you’ve worked in multiple states or are familiar with different local real estate laws. But if not? No problem. We’ll get you up to speed.
Your Day, Your Way (Mostly)
Wondering what a day in this role actually looks like?
Picture this: You grab your coffee, log in from your kitchen table, and start reviewing yesterday’s files. Around 10 a.m., someone pings you on Slack about a missing seller signature. You help fix it in minutes. Later, you join a 20-minute Zoom to check in with the team, swap notes, and keep things moving.
The rest of the day? You’re knee-deep in docs, sharing helpful tips in the team channel, or fine-tuning a quick-reference guide for newer agents.
You work independently but never feel alone.
The Tools You’ll Use (So Nothing Slows You Down)
We believe your tools should work for you, not the other way around. Here’s what you’ll have access to:
- Slack for quick team chats and file shares
- Zoom for regular huddles and updates
- Notion or Airtable for task tracking and knowledge-sharing
- Skyslope or Dotloop for transaction management
- Google Workspace for docs, checklists, and reports
We also love a good shortcut. Got an idea to improve the process? Speak up. We listen.
The Challenges Are Real—So Is the Support
Look, compliance isn’t glamorous. It’s detailed, sometimes repetitive, and occasionally stressful. Deadlines pop up fast. Agents forget things. Paperwork piles up.
But here’s what makes it better: You’ve got backup.
You’ll never be left alone to figure it all out. We have SOPs, templates, and real humans who jump in when things get messy. And when wins happen? We celebrate hard. Whether it’s a clean audit or a complex file review that saves the day, your work won’t go unnoticed.
What Makes This Job Different
We’re not just offering you a list of tasks. We’re offering you:
- Freedom. Work from anywhere with Wi-Fi.
- Flexibility. You can structure your day around your life.
- Growth. We promote from within and appreciate it when team members take on more responsibilities.
