Good content doesn't just fill a calendar β it earns attention, holds it, and turns readers into people who actually care about the brand behind it. We're looking for a
Senior Online Digital Content Creator who knows the difference and can prove it with a body of work, not just a job title.
This is a fully remote role. You'll set the tone for how the brand shows up onlineβacross blogs, social, video, email, and whatever platform makes sense for the story you're telling.
Where you fit in
You're not just executing someone else's content calendar β you're shaping it. Expect to lead ideation sessions, push back on ideas that feel stale, and figure out which formats actually deserve the effort. You'll also mentor junior creators on the team, so some of your impact will show up in their growth, not just your own output.
A good chunk of the role is hands-on production: writing copy, editing others' work, cutting video, and making sure everything sounds like it came from the same brand, even when five different people have touched it.
What the job covers
- Build and run a content strategy that ties back to real business goals, not just posting for the sake of posting
- Write and produce content across blogs, social, newsletters, video, and podcast formats
- Edit and proofread work from other team members, keeping tone and quality consistent
- Maintain an editorial calendar that keeps content timely and aligned with campaigns
- Manage social platforms β scheduling, engagement, and reporting on what's working
- Apply SEO fundamentals so content actually gets found, not just published
- Use performance data to adjust strategy instead of guessing at what's working
- Coordinate with design, marketing, and sales so content supports the bigger picture
- Produce and edit multimedia content, working alongside videographers and designers when needed
- Mentor junior content creators and help them build their own skill sets
What you need
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement).
Experience:
5 years minimum in digital content creation, with a portfolio that shows range across formats.
- Writing and editing skills sharp enough that your copy doesn't need heavy rework
- A working understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content optimization
- Real familiarity with social platforms and what actually drives engagement on each one
- Comfort with multimedia tools β think Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Final Cut Pro
- The organizational chops to run multiple projects at once without missing deadlines
- A track record of using data to inform decisions rather than relying on instinct alone
Nice to have, not required
- Prior experience working in a remote or distributed team
- Familiarity with CMS platforms, email marketing tools, and Google Analytics
- Video production or podcasting experience
- Background collaborating with freelancers, influencers, or outside clients
Compensation and benefits
This role pays an annual salary of $75,000. Beyond that, you'll get:
- Fully remote work with flexibility to manage your own schedule
- Ongoing budget for professional development and skill-building
- A creative, collaborative environment rather than a rigid content mill
- Real opportunity to shape the brand's direction, not just execute someone else's plan
Roles at this level don't come up often on portals like
Naukri Mitra, so if the fit feels right, it's worth moving on it.
How the team operates
The content here isn't made in isolation. You'll be in regular contact with design and marketing, and sometimes directly with clients or outside collaborators, so being easy to work with matters as much as being talented. If you'd rather hand off ideas and wait for approval than actually drive a project, this probably isn't the right seat for you.
Apply
Send your resume along with a portfolio link and a short note on a content project you led that actually moved a metric β traffic, engagement, conversions, whatever mattered for that piece. Show us the thinking behind it, not just the finished product.
