Job Responsibilities:
As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment for our clients, their employees, and visitors. Your primary duties will include:
- Monitoring and Surveillance:
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activity or alarms.
- Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or potential threats.
- access control:
- Manage access control systems, ensuring only authorized personnel enter the premises.
- Check identification and maintain visitor logs for accountability.
- Issue visitor passes and informs relevant personnel of visitor arrivals.
- Emergency Response:
- Act as the first line of response in emergencies, including fires, medical situations, or security breaches.
- Assist in the evacuation of personnel in case of an emergency.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, employees, and visitors.
- Address inquiries and provide directions, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and staff, enhancing the overall security experience.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Maintain accurate records of all security-related activities.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a security guard or in a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to carry out patrols and respond to emergencies.
