What You’ll Do

Vision & Strategy

• Define and communicate a long-term engineering vision that aligns with company goals and future-proof product architecture.
• Translate business objectives into scalable engineering goals across infrastructure, applications, and DevOps.

Leadership & People Management

• Mentor and inspire engineering leaders, building a high-performance, remote-first engineering organization.
• Champion a culture of psychological safety, innovation, and excellence.
• Partner with People Operations to scale hiring, onboarding, and team development strategies globally.

Product & Delivery Oversight

• Collaborate with product leadership to set strategic product roadmaps and ship impactful features on time.
• Implement velocity-focused processes while maintaining code quality and reliability.
• Oversee sprint planning, resource allocation, and software release cycles.

Technical Excellence

• Lead architecture discussions across engineering squads, ensuring technical decisions are resilient, forward-looking, and scalable.
• Promote standards for clean code, documentation, and testing.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for both cost efficiency and performance.

Tools & Technology

Our engineering stack is evolving, but currently includes:

• Languages: TypeScript, Go, Python, Java
• Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform
• DevOps: GitHub Actions, Docker, Prometheus
• Monitoring & Analytics: Datadog, Grafana, Looker

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Extensive experience managing distributed engineering groups with measurable impact and shipping large-scale products.
• Deep understanding of systems architecture, cloud platforms, and engineering best practices.
• Ability to think strategically and execute with speed and precision.
• Experience driving continuous delivery, CI/CD pipelines, and remote engineering operations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You can tell a story with metrics and inspire action with clarity.
• A leadership style rooted in trust, mentorship, and thoughtful feedback.
