Remote Risk Evaluation Analyst

Location: Remote Salary: USD 90,000 per annum Position Overview: As a Remote Risk Evaluation Analyst, you will be pivotal in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating potential risks that could impact the organizationโ€™s operations, finances, or reputation. You will leverage your expertise in risk management to provide insightful analysis and recommendations that support strategic decision-making and enhance the organizationโ€™s risk posture. This fully remote position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work from anywhere. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Assessment and Analysis:
    • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities across various business functions and operational areas.
    • Analyze data and trends to evaluate identified risks' likelihood and potential impact.
    • Develop and maintain risk assessment frameworks and methodologies to ensure consistent and accurate risk evaluations.
  2. Risk Mitigation Strategies:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
    • Provide recommendations for risk control measures and monitor their effectiveness over time.
    • Ensure that risk management strategies align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  3. Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare detailed risk evaluation reports, including risk profiles, exposure assessments, and mitigation plans.
    • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders clearly and concisely.
    • Maintain accurate records of risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and outcomes for audit and compliance purposes.
  4. Compliance and Regulation:
    • Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to risk management and compliance.
    • Ensure that risk management practices and policies adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing identified issues.
  5. Risk Monitoring and Review:
    • Continuously monitor and review risk indicators, emerging threats, and changes in the risk landscape.
    • Update risk assessment methodologies and frameworks as needed to reflect changes in the business environment or emerging risks.
    • Conduct regular reviews of risk management practices to ensure their effectiveness and relevance.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, IT, and legal, to gather relevant information and insights for risk evaluation.
    • Facilitate workshops and training sessions on risk awareness and risk management best practices.
    • Act as a subject matter expert on risk-related issues and guide and support team members.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., Certified Risk Management Professional, Certified Information Systems Auditor) are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk evaluation, risk management, or a related field. Experience in a remote work environment is advantageous.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key risk factors.
    • Proficiency in risk assessment tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present complex information understandably.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
