Location: Remote Annual Salary: USD 34,999 Job Overview: We seek a highly skilled and detail-oriented Online Risk Control Manager to join our team. This remote position is ideal for an experienced professional who manages and mitigates online risks in a digital environment. The Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing risk control strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our online platforms and services. Key Responsibilities:

1. Risk Assessment and Analysis:
   • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to our online platforms and services.
   • Analyze risk data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations for risk mitigation.
   • Develop and maintain risk assessment tools and methodologies to ensure accurate and practical risk evaluation.
2. Risk Control Strategy Development:
   • Create and implement risk control strategies and policies to safeguard online assets and data.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate risk control measures into existing systems and processes.
   • Review and update risk control strategies to adapt to evolving threats and industry best practices.
3. Incident Management and Response:
   • Led and coordinated incident response efforts for online security breaches and other risk-related incidents.
   • Investigate and analyze incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
   • Develop and conduct training programs to educate team members on risk management and incident response procedures.
4. Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
   • Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to online risk management.
   • Monitor and assess changes in regulatory requirements and adjust risk control measures accordingly.
   • Prepare and submit reports on risk control activities and compliance status to senior management and regulatory bodies.
5. Risk Monitoring and Reporting:
   • Establish and maintain monitoring systems to track and report on risk metrics and indicators.
   • Generate regular reports on risk control activities, incident responses, and risk mitigation efforts.
   • Enhancing risk control measures based on monitoring data and incident analysis is recommended.
6. Stakeholder Communication and Collaboration:
   • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, legal, and compliance teams, to address risk-related concerns and implement solutions.
   • Communicate risk management strategies and updates to senior management and other key stakeholders.
   • Foster a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management throughout the organization.
7. Continuous Improvement:
   • Stay informed about emerging trends, threats, and technologies in online risk management.
   • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to risk control.
   • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance overall risk management effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in risk management, cybersecurity, or a related field, focusing on online platforms and digital assets.
• Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex risk scenarios and develop effective control strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information to various audiences.
  • Proficiency in risk assessment tools, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
