Role Summary

As a work-from-home Network Security Analyst, you’ll respond to cyber threats in real time using your command of access control, VPN security, packet inspection, and threat analytics. You’ll analyze security logs, configure defense tools, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements that reduce exposure to malicious activities. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor LAN/WAN and cloud environments to identify and respond to threats
  • Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure tunneling (VPN, ZTNA)
  • Investigate suspicious activities flagged by SIEM and EDR platforms
  • Collaborate on role-based access policies and zero-trust network enforcement
  • Perform packet capture analysis and threat pattern recognition
  • Conduct incident triage, root cause analysis, and digital forensics
  • Generate reports on vulnerabilities, threat trends, and action items
