Key Responsibilities

Layout & Design

• Design engaging magazine spreads that reflect editorial vision and brand identity
• Develop front covers and feature pages that capture attention and communicate the heart of each story
• Innovate and implement new design elements to keep the magazine's look fresh and relevant

Collaboration & Communication

• Partner with editorial, photography, and marketing teams to develop cohesive design plans
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and editorial meetings
• Give and receive constructive feedback to refine creative outputs

Brand Consistency

• Ensure branding standards are upheld throughout print and digital formats
• Create reusable templates and style guides that streamline design processes

Digital Adaptation

• Adapt designs for responsive digital viewing (e.g., tablets, mobile phones)
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design elements translate seamlessly across platforms
• Integrate accessibility best practices for inclusive digital experiences

Required Qualifications

Design Background

• Minimum of three years working in the graphic design field, ideally with publishing or editorial content
• Proven track record of juggling multiple design assignments efficiently under time-sensitive conditions

Software Mastery

• Expert in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
• Familiarity with collaborative design tools like Figma or Canva

Portfolio Requirement
