Remote Learning Coordinator

Job Overview:
As a Remote Learning Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing virtual learning initiatives across our organization. This role is key to creating engaging and effective online training experiences that enhance employee development and support the growth of our workforce. The Learning Coordinator will collaborate with various departments, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other stakeholders to build tailored e-learning programs, track their performance, and ensure continuous improvement.
This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a passion for education, technology, and workforce development. The ideal candidate has a strong background in instructional design, online learning platforms, and project management. As the main point of contact for online learning initiatives, you will ensure smooth implementation and consistent delivery of content across the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Learning Program Development & Management:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and department leads to identify learning and development needs.
- Develop, design, and implement online learning modules that align with the company's business goals and employee development plans.
- Create interactive, engaging, and effective e-learning content using instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
- Regularly review and update training materials to ensure relevance, effectiveness, and engagement.
- Evaluate learning outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
2. Coordination of virtual training sessions:
- Manage the scheduling and coordination of virtual learning events, webinars, and workshops.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for trainers, facilitators, and participants to ensure the smooth execution of online training programs.
- Oversee the technical setup of virtual learning platforms, ensuring seamless integration with other company systems.
- Monitor live training sessions, address technical issues, and provide support to both trainers and participants.
3. Learning Technology Management:
- Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring that it functions optimally for all users.
- Track employee participation, course completion rates, and learning progress using the LMS.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to the LMS or other learning platforms and work with IT to resolve any challenges.
- Recommend new tools, platforms, or technologies to enhance the virtual learning experience.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track key metrics and generate reports on the performance of learning programs, including learner engagement, completion rates, and knowledge retention.
- Provide regular reports to leadership on the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.
- Analyze data and trends to identify areas of improvement and propose actionable recommendations.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with internal teams, including HR, Talent Development, and various departments, to align training initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with external vendors or consultants as needed for the creation or delivery of specialized training content.
- Maintain ongoing communication with subject matter experts to update and optimize content.
6. Employee Support:
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding their learning paths, course selections, and technical issues related to the learning platform.
- Address learner inquiries and ensure timely responses to all training-related requests.
- Facilitate discussion forums or Q&A sessions during or after virtual training to foster a collaborative learning environment.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelorβs degree in Education, Learning and Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in learning and development, preferably in a corporate or remote setting.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing e-learning programs and instructional materials.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), online learning tools, and content development software.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in virtual environments.
- Technologically savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and platforms.
- Analytical mindset with experience in evaluating training effectiveness through data analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical support for virtual learning sessions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masterβs degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or related field.
- Certifications in e-learning development tools such as Articulate 360, Captivate, or similar.
- Knowledge of multimedia tools for creating interactive and visually appealing content.
- Previous experience working in a remote or global organization with distributed teams.
