What You’ll Do

As an HR Compliance Specialist, you will align HR policies and procedures with evolving compliance regulations and industry best practices. Your key duties will include:

• Regulatory Compliance – To ensure company-wide adherence, stay informed on federal, state, and international labor law updates.
• Audits & Risk Assessments – Conduct routine HR audits and risk evaluations to identify areas of improvement and mitigate potential compliance risks.
• Policy Development & Implementation – Create, update, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and company-wide compliance programs.
• Training & Education – Develop compliance training sessions for employees and leadership teams.
• Documentation & Reporting – Maintain thorough and up-to-date compliance records to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
• Employee Relations & Investigations – Handle compliance concerns, lead internal investigations, and ensure fair and consistent enforcement of policies.
• HR Technology & Compliance Systems – Leverage HR software tools to streamline reporting and track compliance efforts effectively.

Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Experience – Minimum of 3+ years in HR compliance, employment law, audits, or policy development.
• Legal & Regulatory Knowledge – Strong expertise in federal and state labor laws, including FLSA, FMLA, EEO, and OSHA.
• Communication Skills – Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for policy documentation and training facilitation.
• Technical Proficiency – Experience working with HRIS systems and compliance software is advantageous.
