Position Overview

The Remote Hospitality Interior Designer is crucial in conceptualizing and implementing innovative interior solutions for the hospitality sector. This includes hotels, resorts, restaurants, and luxury vacation properties. You will be responsible for designing immersive and visually appealing spaces, prioritizing aesthetics and functionality. Working remotely, you will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, contractors, and suppliers to execute design visions that align with brand standards and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design & Execution

✅ Concept Development – Craft dynamic interior design concepts that blend creativity, brand identity, and functionality. ✅ Material & Furniture Selection – Source high-quality, sustainable, and budget-friendly materials, furniture, and decorative elements. ✅ Space Planning & Layouts – Develop spatial layouts that enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency. ✅ Sustainability & Eco-Friendly Practices – Implement green design principles and innovative solutions that align with LEED and WELL standards.

Technology & Visualization

✅ 3D Modeling & Rendering – Leverage software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Enscape to create high-fidelity visual presentations. ✅ BIM Integration – Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) to streamline design, documentation, and collaboration. ✅ Augmented Reality (AR) & Virtual Reality (VR) – Present interactive design experiences to clients and stakeholders using immersive technologies. ✅ Smart Hospitality Design – Incorporate IoT-enabled devices, automated lighting, and energy-efficient smart systems into designs.

Project Coordination & Management

✅ Client Consultation & Collaboration – Work closely with clients to understand their brand vision and project requirements. ✅ Vendor & Supplier Management – Source, negotiate and coordinate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective material procurement. ✅ Remote Project Management – Use cloud-based project management tools to oversee timelines, budgets, and deliverables. ✅ Compliance & Safety Standards – Ensure all designs adhere to industry regulations, safety codes, and accessibility guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

Degree Requirements: ✔️ Bachelor’s or Master’s in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. ✔️ Minimum 5+ years of experience in hospitality interior design.

Technical Proficiency

Software & Design Tools: ✔️ Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape. ✔️ Experience with 3D rendering tools (Lumion, 3ds Max, V-Ray) for lifelike visualizations. ✔️ Expertise in BIM applications to optimize project workflows and collaboration. ✔️ Familiarity with VR and AR tools for immersive client presentations.
