Remote Hiring Coordinator

Location: Remote Salary: $45,009 per annum Position Overview: We seek a highly organized and proactive Remote Hiring Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our hiring process by managing candidate communications, scheduling interviews, and ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment workflow. As a Remote Hiring Coordinator, you will work closely with hiring managers and candidates to facilitate a seamless hiring experience from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Candidate Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to candidate inquiries, providing updates and feedback as necessary.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate interactions and status records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  2. Scheduling and Coordination:
    • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring alignment with all parties' availability.
    • Organize and manage virtual interview setups, including arranging necessary technology and ensuring all participants are prepared.
    • Facilitate pre-interview and post-interview communication, including sending confirmations, reminders, and follow-up correspondence.
  3. Recruitment Process Support:
    • Assist in preparing and posting job advertisements on various platforms, including job boards and social media.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide insights into the recruitment process.
    • Support onboarding by preparing and distributing offer letters and ensuring new hires complete the required documentation.
  4. Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the ATS, ensuring all information is appropriately recorded and confidential.
    • Generate and analyze recruitment metrics and reports to track hiring progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Regularly update hiring managers and other stakeholders on recruitment activities and candidate status.
  5. Process Improvement:
    • Identify and recommend improvements to the hiring process to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
    • Stay current with best practices and trends in remote recruitment and incorporate new strategies as appropriate.
    • Participate in recruitment-related projects and initiatives as needed, contributing to developing and implementing new processes.
Qualifications:
  1. Education and Experience:
    • A bachelor’s degree in human resources business administration or a related field is preferred.
    • Proven experience in a recruitment or administrative role, with a strong understanding of hiring processes and best practices.
    • Experience working in a remote environment and managing virtual communications effectively.
  2. Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional demeanor.
    • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  3. Technical Proficiency:
    • Familiarity with virtual interview platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and remote work tools (e.g., Slack, Asana).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  4. Attributes:
    • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy and thoroughness.
