Key Responsibilities

Core Statistical Tasks

✅ Design, develop, and assess clinical and epidemiological studies across multiple domains ✅ Clean, manipulate, and transform structured and unstructured health data into high-quality statistical models ✅ Perform exploratory data analysis, simulations, and statistical modeling to test hypotheses and uncover insights ✅ Select appropriate methods such as logistic regression, ANOVA, Bayesian models, and time-series analysis for various study types ✅ Produce automated analysis scripts and dashboards for continuous performance monitoring

Collaborative Engagement

✅ Work cross-functionally with healthcare professionals, programmers, and policy analysts to understand project goals ✅ Prepare statistical analysis plans and explain choices in layman-friendly terms for stakeholders ✅ Collaborate with data engineers to develop reproducible, validated, and scalable pipelines ✅ Contribute to white papers, journals, grant submissions, and research presentations that shape public discourse

Data Quality & Integrity

✅ Ensure data security, consistency, and compliance with international research regulations like GDPR, HIPAA, and ICH-GCP ✅ Perform rigorous quality assurance checks and peer reviews on deliverables to uphold scientific standards

Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Background

Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Epidemiology, or Quantitative Public Health Additional certification in data science or advanced analytics is a plus

Professional Experience

3–5 years of real-world biostatistics experience in clinical, pharmaceutical, or academic research settings Demonstrated success in leading or contributing to high-impact public health or biomedical projects

Technical Skills

Expertise in R, SAS, STATA, and/or Python, including experience in packages like tidyverse, survival, and lme4 Competency in working with SQL databases and managing large datasets Knowledge of Git, Jira, Confluence, and collaborative data science tools Familiarity with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage
