Somebody has to catch the typo before it goes live, question the stat that doesn't quite add up, and decide whether a headline actually earns its click. That's this job.
We're hiring an
Online Editorial Support Specialist for a remote, full-time role paying USD 60,000 a year. You'll work across our digital platforms, reviewing and shaping content before it reaches readers, and keeping the whole publishing process moving without letting quality slip.
The Short Version
Writers draft. You sharpen. Stakeholders weigh in. You reconcile. Then it publishes, and you check the numbers to see if it worked. That loop repeats daily, and every round is a chance to make the content a little better than it was.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
- Edit content for grammar, punctuation, tone, and brand style before publication.
- Apply SEO fundamentals: keyword placement, meta descriptions, header structure, readability.
- Own parts of the content calendar so releases go out on schedule, not in a scramble.
- Fact-check claims and sources; fix anything outdated or wrong.
- Catch inconsistencies during quality checks and loop in the right team to fix them.
- Give writers feedback that actually helps, not just red ink for the sake of it.
- Publish and format posts in the CMS, and troubleshoot when something breaks.
- Pull performance metrics and flag what's working or what needs a rewrite.
- Sit in on editorial planning and speak up when you see a gap or opportunity.
- Track timelines on editorial projects and keep stakeholders in the loop.
What We Need From You
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: At least 2 years in editorial support, copyediting, or similar work, ideally in a digital setting.
- Grammar and punctuation you don't have to think twice about.
- A working grasp of SEO and how it actually shapes content decisions.
- Comfort in a CMS and standard editing tools.
- The ability to run several deadlines at once without content quality dropping.
- Feedback that's honest without being harsh.
- A level head when priorities shift midweek, because they will.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with analytics tools and letting data inform edits.
- A second language or background in multilingual content.
- Some familiarity with social scheduling and promotion.
The Practical Stuff
Fully remote, flexible hours. Most candidates who come to us through
Naukri Mitra ask about this upfront, so here it is plainly: occasional calls land outside standard hours because the team spans time zones, but they're scheduled ahead of time and kept rare.
- Remote work with flexible scheduling.
- Health coverage for you and eligible dependents.
- Paid time off, including personal and sick leave.
- A yearly budget for courses, certifications, or conferences.
- Performance-based bonus.
- A stipend to set up your home workspace.
How the Team Operates
We say what we mean here. If a draft needs another pass, we say so and move on, no cushioning required. Feedback runs both directions, junior to senior and back. Meetings stay short. Most conversations happen async because half the team is asleep when the other half is working, and that's fine.
To Apply
Send your resume and a short note about one piece of content you edited or improved. Tell us what you changed and why you changed it. We read applications as they come in and reach out to candidates who look like a fit.
