This role is critical in ensuring that all benefits-related processes run smoothly and that employees receive exceptional support. As a remote position, you can work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic team dedicated to optimizing our benefits offerings. Key Responsibilities:- Benefits Administration:
- Oversee the day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, wellness programs, and other employee benefits.
- Ensure all benefits plans are administered in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits inquiries, resolving issues, and guiding plan options.
- Enrollment and Eligibility:
- Manage the enrollment process for new hires, ensuring they are informed about their benefits options and assisting them with the selection process.
- Maintain accurate records of employee eligibility, changes, and updates to ensure timely and precise benefits administration.
- Vendor Management:
- Liaise with external benefits vendors and service providers to manage relationships and ensure service delivery meets company standards.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies in service.
- Benefits Communication:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to educate employees about benefits options, plan changes, and important deadlines.
- Benefits-related documentation, including summaries, brochures, and online resources, must be created and maintained to ensure employees can access clear and comprehensive information.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all benefits programs comply with applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA.
- Prepare and submit required reports and filings to regulatory agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of benefits programs and processes to identify and address any compliance issues or areas for improvement.
- Data Management:
- Utilize benefits management software to maintain and update employee benefits data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Analyze benefits data and generate reports to provide insights into benefits usage, trends, and costs.
- Problem Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve benefits-related issues and discrepancies, working with employees, vendors, and other stakeholders to find solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing their concerns and providing timely and accurate information.
- Program Development:
- Collaborate with HR and leadership to evaluate and recommend enhancements to the benefits program based on employee feedback and industry trends.
- Research and stay up-to-date on emerging benefits trends and best practices to ensure the companyβs benefits offerings remain competitive and attractive.
- Education: A bachelorβs degree in human resources business administration or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in benefits administration, with a strong understanding of benefits programs and regulations.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex benefits information clearly.
