About the Job
So here's the situation. A family in Chennai needs a girl to look after their baby in the mornings while they're out. Timing is 8 to 2. Pay is ₹13,256 a month.
No degree needed. No nursing course either. Say you've kept your sister's kid or a neighbor's baby busy all afternoon and still had patience left by evening. That's the kind of person they're looking for.
Your Daily Work
Mornings are the busy bit. You walk in at 8, and the baby will most likely be hungry, so the feed comes first. Then a diaper change, bath, fresh clothes. By then it's probably nap time.
When the baby's awake, play. Talk to them, even if they can't talk back yet. Sing whatever rhymes you know; Tamil ones are perfectly fine. Show picture books. Scrolling your phone while the baby sits alone in a corner is a no.
Other small stuff:
- washing bottles and feeding spoons
- keeping toys clean
- folding the baby's clothes
- tidying the baby's room before you leave
If the baby feels warm, stops eating, or keeps crying in a way that doesn't seem normal, call the parents. Don't wait.
You won't be cooking or mopping the house. That's not part of this job.
Who Can Apply
Girls, preferably 20 and above. Freshers can apply too, as long as you've handled small kids at home. You'll need Tamil to talk with the family. A bit of Hindi or English helps, but it's not a must.

Working Hours
8 am to 2 pm. The first two hours are the heaviest. After lunch, the baby usually sleeps and things slow down a lot. By 2 someone from the family is back, you hand over, and you go.
Salary and Benefits
₹13,256 every month, paid on time. If they ever need you to stay past 2, they'll ask you first and pay for the extra hours. You'll get tea and a snack while you're on duty. The weekly off gets fixed when you join.
