We seek a dynamic and experienced Internal Social Media Manager to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will develop and implement our internal social media strategy to enhance employee engagement, strengthen company culture, and facilitate communication across all levels of the organization. You will work closely with various departments to ensure our internal social media platforms foster community, collaboration, and transparency.Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development and Implementation:- Design and execute a comprehensive internal social media strategy that aligns with company goals and promotes a positive workplace culture.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of internal social media initiatives.
- Regularly analyze social media trends and best practices to enhance employee engagement and participation.
- Develop engaging and relevant content for internal social media platforms, including articles, graphics, videos, and polls.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather stories, achievements, and insights to share within the organization.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent communication and engagement across platforms.
- Foster a sense of community by encouraging employee participation and interaction on internal social media channels.
- Respond to employee inquiries and comments promptly, promoting open dialogue and feedback.
- Organize and facilitate internal campaigns, challenges, and events to stimulate engagement and showcase employee contributions.
- Work closely with the HR and Communications teams to align internal messaging and initiatives.
- Partner with department heads to promote departmental achievements, initiatives, and updates on internal platforms.
- Coordinate with IT and external vendors to ensure internal social media tools' technical functionality and security.
- Provide training and support to employees on using internal social media platforms effectively.
- Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials to assist employees in maximizing their use of these tools.
- Address any technical issues or challenges employees may face when using the platforms.
- Monitor engagement metrics and trends to assess the effectiveness of internal social media initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports for leadership that highlight engagement levels, employee feedback, and improvement recommendations.
- Conduct surveys and gather feedback to improve the internal social media experience continuously.
- Ensure that all content adheres to company policies, legal standards, and best practices for internal communication.
- Stay updated on emerging social media trends and technologies, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:- Bachelorβs degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in social media management, communications, or a related field, with a focus on internal communications preferred.
- Proven experience in content creation, community management, and social media strategy development.
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative engagement initiatives.
