HR Administrator
Location: Remote Annual Salary: $58,160 Position Overview: We seek a highly motivated and organized HR Administrator to join our dynamic team. As an HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in managing various human resources functions and ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the HR department. This remote position requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Coordinate the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and timely candidate information.
- Employee Records Management:
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Process employee changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
- Handle confidential employee information with the utmost discretion and adhere to data protection regulations.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.
- Coordinate with benefits providers to resolve issues and ensure accurate benefits administration.
- Conduct regular benefits audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Payroll Administration:
- Support payroll by verifying and processing employee timecards, calculating hours, and addressing payroll-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Conduct periodic audits of HR practices to ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns related to HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support employee engagement initiatives and assist in resolving workplace issues and conflicts.
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Training and Development:
- Assist in organizing and coordinating training programs and workshops for employees.
- Maintain training records and track employee participation and progress.
- Support the development and delivery of onboarding and ongoing training materials.
- Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining HR documentation.
- Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Maintain an organized and efficient remote work environment.
- Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using HRIS systems, ATS, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively in a remote work environment.
