We are seeking reliable and experienced drivers to join our team in Mumbai. Our ideal candidates will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role involves driving company vehicles, maintaining vehicle cleanliness, and adhering to all traffic regulations. The position requires excellent navigation skills, a deep understanding of Mumbai's roads, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving: Operate company vehicles safely and courteously, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Ensure the safety of passengers and other road users at all times.
- Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize travel time while considering traffic conditions and road closures. Utilize navigation apps and tools to stay updated.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine checks and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or concerns to the management promptly.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting passengers, assisting them with luggage, and addressing any concerns or requests during the journey. Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during driving. Submit reports as required by management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe driving environment.
- emergency response: Be prepared to handle emergencies, such as vehicle breakdowns or accidents, with a calm and effective approach. Assist passengers as needed in such situations.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with management regarding schedules, routes, and any issues that may arise. Report any changes or updates promptly.
- Flexibility: Be available for varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Flexibility in scheduling is crucial for this role.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in Mumbai or similar urban environments. Familiarity with local roads and traffic patterns is a must.
- License: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. No major violations or accidents in the past three years.
- Skills: Strong navigation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Physical Fitness: Good physical condition to assist with loading and unloading of passengers’ luggage and to handle any potential emergencies.
- Background Check: Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
