Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry:
- Accurately input data into designated company databases, spreadsheets, or content management systems.
- Review, verify, and correct data entered, ensuring it adheres to company standards.
- Manage both digital and paper files, ensuring that all entries are up-to-date.
- Data Verification and Validation:
- Ensure that all data input is accurate, complete, and conforms to company requirements.
- Cross-check information with source documents, correct errors as necessary, and notify the supervisor of any discrepancies.
- Document Management:
- Organize and manage files, records, and other documents, ensuring that they are stored securely and in an accessible manner.
- Scan and convert paper documents into electronic formats as required.
- Maintain Confidentiality:
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost care, ensuring that all data is treated confidentially and according to company policies.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with various departments to ensure that data is entered and processed promptly.
- Coordinate with team members to streamline data entry processes and meet organizational goals.
- Reporting:
- Generate reports from the data entered for use by supervisors and management teams.
- Assist with preparing data for presentations, audits, or other analytical tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Education:
A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in office management or data-related courses is a plus.
- Experience:
At least 1-2 years of proven experience as a Data Entry Operator, or in a similar role. Experience in using office software (e.g., MS Office) and data systems is required.
- Typing Skills:
High proficiency in typing with a speed of at least 40-50 words per minute with minimal errors.
- Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of computer systems and databases, including familiarity with data entry software such as Excel, Google Sheets, or specialized tools used by the company.
- Attention to Detail:
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and prevent mistakes.
- Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
