Virtual Employee Development Specialist (Remote)
Why This Role Matters
You know that feeling when you help someone grow? When they finally get what they’re capable of? That’s the kind of energy we’re after. As our new Virtual Employee Development Specialist,
you’ll be the reason someone goes from stuck to soaring.
We’re not here to tick boxes or run cookie-cutter training sessions. We’re here to actually help people level up—professionally
and personally. And yeah, we do it all remotely.
This role is for the empathetic listeners, the motivators, the ones who can see potential even when someone else can’t. If you’ve ever been the go-to person for advice, the one who cheers loudest when others succeed,
you’re in the right place.
What You’ll Be Doing
Coaching and Support
- Meet virtually with employees across departments to get to know what makes them tick.
- Build confidence, navigate team dynamics, and offer a sounding board when needed.
Real talk: Ever helped a teammate through a challenging transition? That’s the kind of impact we mean.
Designing Engaging Learning Experiences
- Forget boring slide decks. Design bite-sized development programs people actually want.
- Own leadership training, feedback coaching, and more.
One of our team members, Lauren, once turned a simple workshop into a story-driven experience that had people quoting it
weeks later. That’s the level we’re aiming for.
Identifying Growth Gaps
- Not everyone knows what support they need—you help uncover it.
- Run pulse checks, gather feedback, and build the solutions employees didn’t know they were waiting for.
Traits That Make You a Great Fit
Core Skills and Experience
- Led development initiatives (formally or informally).
- Know how to turn feedback into something actionable.
- Great at reading between the lines.
- Naturally empathetic. People say you "just get them."
- Experience coaching—even if unofficially.
Don’t worry about job titles. If you’ve been doing the work, we’ll see it.

Staying Connected While Working Apart

You won’t be just another screen name. You’ll
feel like part of the team.

- Zoom for real-time coaching and workshops
- Miro for building collaborative development plans
